As a native New Yorker, I have been living in North Carolina for 17
years. My quest for wellness began when I was in a life threatening
auto accident at 16 years old. That experience combined with a career
in the Pharma industry gave me insight into what I thought "health"
truly meant. In addition to health issues still today from that
accident, my relationships, career path, and having children have
shaped who I am today. The journey has been a gift to my soul as I
learned how to redefine what I stand for, and what is important to me.
I learned that it is actually okay to "fit out" rather than "fit
in"..... and it's more fun too! I crave health and have worked hard to
create a life that supports just that. You can too!
My son and daughter have taught me, by the Grace of God, more than I
could have ever taught them about love, life, patience, and my own
abilities. They are talented, witty, and inspire me to best the best I
can be, and to leave them a legacy of health in a day and age that
doesn't really promote the union of mind, body and spirit. I am deeply
committed to my role and influence as a mother, and I am thankful to be
able to do the work that I enjoy. For me, health counseling is an
opportunity to help you create the most vibrant expression of YOU!
Small changes at a time will lead to lasting results that you can be
proud of.

I received my training in Health Counseling at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories—combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods. I have been trained by the best of the best including Dr. Mehmet Oz, Andrew Weil, Marion Nestle, David Wolf, Walter Willet, John Douillard and Joshua Rosenthal, just to name a few. I live in Cary, NC with my husband Chris (whose cooking can rival any chef’s!), and two children, Domenic and Lily. In addition to enjoying my work, I love yoga, nature trails, reading and learning, family and friends, traveling, the different seasons, good butterflies in my stomach, and a great glass of wine!
Thank you to my friends and family for allowing me to “bloom” in life the way God intended for me to. I also thank my dedicated and inspiring clients for inviting me to walk along side them on their healthy paths.
Would you like to become a Health Coach, and become certified from the world's largest nutrition school? I had to travel to NY but now you don't need to! Distance learning is offered at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition! If you are looking to begin a Healthy new career, or add a more "whole person" approach to your existing education, visit www.integrativenutrition.com today for special tuition discounts before March 31st!
